WAD ADVENTIST YOUNG MISSIONARY VOLUNTEER LAUNCHED IN NORTHERN NIGERIA

West Central African Division (WAD) Adventist Young Missionary Volunteer project has been launched in Northern Nigeria Union Conference to further widen the reach of Advent messages in the region.

The project was launched on Tuesday, November 15th, 2022 by WAD Officers, Pastor Nathan Teye Odonkor, Associate Secretary; Pastor Abraham Obaya, Director Publishing and Associate Treasurer, Pastor Isaac Owusu-Dankwa during the year end meeting of the Northern Nigeria Union Conference in Abuja, Nigeria.
A Special prayer was offered by Pastor Obaya for the smooth take off and success of the program in Northern Nigeria.
The project aims to recruit 1,000 Adventist young volunteers for missionary work.
In his remarks, Pastor Yohanna U. Harry, President Northern Nigeria Union Conference thanked the WAD adminstration for their initiative and expressed confidence that the newly launched project will succeed in Northern Nigeria.
"We are committed to programs and initiatives that will speedy the gospel mission in our conference territory. God helping us, moblizing the young people for WAD Adventist Young Missionary Volunteer and supporting its sustainable growth across our Union fields will not be exception", Pastor Harry affirmed.
Other highlights of the Year End meeting were the dedicatory prayers for The Great Controversy Project 2.0. and presentation of NNUC 90 years Anniversary Wrappers to the WAD officers.
