Religious Liberty Sabbath: Multifaceted Dimensions of Freedom

For Religious Liberty Sabbath, January 15, 2022, Dr. Ganoune Diop, director of Public Affairs and Religious Liberty for the Seventh-day Adventist world church, and the Secretary General IRLA intends to highlight a holistic understanding of religious freedom. Today and increasingly, this fundamental freedom is misunderstood, distorted, and instrumentalized to political ends. The sermon’s endeavor is that of restoration of the true nature and scope of religious freedom. While mentioning international and national provisions for religious freedom, the best we offer is our theological insights. Therefore, the spiritual emphasis in the sermon. That is what we bring to the world as part of our mission.
